The Candid Photography is a photograph taken without creating a posed appearance. The candid nature of a photograph is not related to the subject’s knowledge that he or she is being photographed.
The crucial factor is the actual absence of laying.
If the subject is absolutely unaware that he is being photographed and does not even expect it, then such photography is Secret photography , which is a special case of Candid photography.
One could argue that candid photography is the purest form of photojournalism.
But there is a fine line between photojournalism and candid photography.
Photojournalism often aims to tell a story in pictures, while candid photography
It simply captures people experiencing an event.
I call it Secret Photography
But also simply emotional photography.
